Charity Fundraising
HQ select specific local charities to support each year. Nominated charity for 2010 will be NSPCC Childline
January and February 2010 has seen the team at HQ help raise funds for Children in Need and NSPCC Childline
Judi Spiers auctioned a pamper session that we donated - worth £100 and a kind gentleman paid £150 to the Children in Need appeal
On Tuesday 2nd February, Hair Stylist Holly and Therapist - Georgie, went to the Childline offices in Exeter to do hair and make-up for Deborah Meaden of Dragon's Den fame. Deborah was publicising the Dragon's Challenge to raise much needed funds for NSPCC Childline. This year HQ will do all we can to help this charity as they are desperately in need of volunteers to council the children that call.
On Saturday 13th February we are helping System 6 Kitchens to raise funds for Childline. A brave male volunteer will be waxed by the general public (and rthe help of an HQ therapist) in the Harlequins Shopping Centre, 10.30 a.m to 12.30, in exchange for a donation to the charity.
We are willing to support a limited number of Exeter charities, to whom we provide gift vouchers or products for auction or good prize draws. If you would like to be considered for future fund raising, then please go to contact us and fill in the comments section with your request.
